Hello and welcome again to our little farm!

My husband, “Farmer Joe”, myself (Jessica), and our 7 farm children live on a beautiful slice of just over 17 acres in Leelanau county, Michigan.

Farmer Joe and I met in 2012 when he was severing our country as Infantry in the Marine Corps. After almost 10 years and 3 tours for Farmer Joe, we craved a more simple, consistent, slow-paced, and nourishing life back in my home state of Michigan.

We moved back to my hometown in 2016 where we proceeded to build our homestead from scratch – starting with our house. After two long years of hard work building our home, we finally moved in! Although, our home is not completely finished and there is still plenty to do, we are in heaven living our dream.

There are many farm projects we are still working on and fine tuning our systems, but we were able to get enough up and running to have a small heard of Dexter cattle, a large flock of pastured chickens, meat chickens, breeding Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, barn cats that act more like dogs than cats, and livestock guardian dogs.

Life is not shy of crazy around here but we feel completely blessed in this curated chaos and to be able to live our dream! Come along for the ride and experience our farm life with us by exploring what natural, homemade, farm fresh products we may be able to provide for you and your family!
